Sakis gives a concert in Cyprus

Premiere of the movie "Cars" where Sakis voice - acted for Lightning Mc Queenn, the leading man.

Sakis gives a concert / beach party at Yabanaki, Athens.

According to his official website, Sakis Rouvas finished dubbing for the new Disney/PIXAR movie "Cars" in June this year. This movie will premiere on September 14 in Greece, and Sakis lends his voice to the main character, Lightning Mc Queen.

Plot

Lightning Mc Queen is a cocky, rookie race car. Speeding on his way to a big race, he crashes into Radiator Springs, destroying lots of the inhabitants belongings. In order to make up for what he did, the cocky roadster is sentenced to community service. Though he will do anything to get away from the work, Mc Queen must learn to respect and bond with the Radiator Springs inhabitants in order to get out of the town and back on the racetracks.

Sakis and a friend of his, participated in a boat race in Corfu and won 2nd place! There were 31 participants - more than any other year.

Sakis has won 3 MAD Video Music Awards. That's more than any other male artist for the year 2006. The awards were: The best video clip of the year 2005 (VC: Na m'agapas), Most Well Dressed for the year 2005 (VC: Mila tis). Sakis has performed live his latest hit: Agapa me / Na m'agapas.

The name of Sakis movie has been anounced. It's called "Alter Ego". The treiler of the movie has been filmed at the fouagie of the shopping center "The MAll" in Athens and a teaser treiler has been released and will be aired in greek theatres at 8/7/2006.|

Sakis gives his first radio interview after the 51st ESC competition, for Love Radio.

Sakis has performed his duties as a host of Eurovision 2006 perfectly. He received excellent reviews from greek and foreign press. Sakis sang a duet with Maria Menounos, called "Love Shine A Light" at the semi - finals and later he sang "S'eho eroteftei" in the english version: "I'm in love with you".

Sakis has released a ne CD/DVD album called "Live Ballads". It's a collection of some of his greatest hits along with 2 new songs (Horis kardia and Eise oli mou i zoi). The CD is a live recording of his concert at 14th of February and is accompanied by the DVD of that event.

It's official. Sakis will be starring in a movie. The photo shoots will start this summer and the movie will be released in December 2006.

Sakis receives two Arion Music Awards! More awards for Sakis: two Arions this year, at annual the greek music awards, for Best Pop CD and Best Pop Singer.
