Sakis present himself smiling and tanned in the courthouse accompanied by his manager Ilias Psinakis.

The reason? The release of his new album titled “Do you or don’t you” from the company “Minos EMI”, that the record company “Polygram” (wich has been Sakis’ record company since the beginning of his career about four years ago) asks to be rendered illegal.

The artist presented his side of the story in this dispute. He doesn’t consider that he broke his contract with his old record company. “I was asked to create a record with unknown songwriters. I resisted and proposed songwriters like Nikos Karvelas and Giorgos Theophanous but they didn’t agree. So, since my contract was due since 1996 I signed a new contract with Minos”.

From the other corner, the judge, examined the testimony of the production manager for “Polygram” Kostas Kalimeris who claims that Sakis move and “desertion” caught them by surprise. “There was an agreement” he added “to record 3 singles from 1993 untill 1996. So far he has released only 2”

The courthouse after examining both sides will give a final answer that will determine Sakis latest release.
