On 11 February we heard the first three candidate songs for the Greek participation in this year's Eurovision, and by the end of a special event that the Mangira sisters will host a committee and the public will choose the song that will travel to Moscow.

Sakis Rouvas will interpret three different creation of Dimitris Kontopoulos and the artistic part is in the hands of Fokas Evangelinos.

Meanwhile, the BBC launched the talent show which will highlight the singer or group that will represent the British with a song that will be written by Andrew Lloyd Weber. «Your country needs you» is the title of the show, based on the words of John. F. Kennedy. Already yesterday the first candidate has been eliminated, while the famous producer who participates in the panel said he would not write anything until he sees who the singer is going to be.

After continuous failures of Great Britain in the competition in recent years and under the threat of withdrawal by Terry Vogkan, the commentary of the competition, the BBC now puts its hopes in the success of the creater of Â«Dont Cry For Me Argentina» and «Jesus Christ Superstar ». 

So far  43 are the countries that will participate in the competition, after the return of Slovakia after ten years and the withdrawal of San Marino, who attended last year for the first time.

According to the Bgiorn Ericson, director of Eurovision.tv, EBU made attempts to restore other members such as Austria, Italy and Monaco in the  Eurovision of 2010, which will accept the participation of Palestine after agreements of the European network television with PBC (Palestinian Broadcasting Corporation).
