Sakis Rouvas is a bloodthirsty killer!

No it is not the reality, but the role Sakis played in an American film. As already mentioned in previous articles the new daddy, Sakis, has a full schedule this year. One of this year's projects was the co-starring in the American film "Duress" (a phycological thriller), the title of which suggests the violence that comes out in a state of intense stress. In this film the protagonists are Sakis and the American actor Martin Ntonovan known from many films such as "The Portrait of a lady" of Jane Kampion, with Nicole Kidman.

The plot involves the cat and mouse game between a psychopath killer and a family man, Sakis impersonates the murderer who psychologicaly blackmails Ntonovan, who plays the married man and father of an 11 year old girl. The killer forces Ntonovan to be with him at the scene of the crime by intimidating that he is going to hurt his daughter. The reason that the killer wants the family man present is to frame him by  using his fingerprints and placing him on the scene.

According to the our reporters Sakis, director of the film is the young Australian Jordan Barker, and the producer is Julio Caro, who has collaborated with Jennifer Lopez and has made the film "El cantante", which was shot in Greece. The producer came in contact with Sakis via a manager of the famous actor who is in America, who then gave the script to the singer. The opportunity on the one hand, and the complexity of role on the other convinced Sakis to say «yes».

While the first print will be ready in December, the film will be screened in cinemas early in the Eastern European countries, with the first stations to Russia and Poland at the end of May and the America the rest of the West and Greece will see the film from September.
