Sakis the assasin!

Although as a first time dad Sakis is going through the most tender period of his life, he becomes a dark, intimidating person in his first serious effort in the international film industry, his role is that of Abner Solvie, a mianic killer.

The Greek pop star «ruffles» his image of the beautiful and good guy for the purposes of the role in a psychological thriller titled "Duress" (threat of violence would translate into Greek) which is directed by the Australian Jordan Barker and with the co-starring is Martin Ntonovan (The Portrait of a Lady, Weeds). 

The story is about the eternal game of cat and mouse, which translates into a chase between a killer (as Sakis) and a family man Richard Barnett, who is impersonated by Donovan. The first is psychologicaly blackmailing the second by targeting his eleven-year-old daughter and is forcing him to witness the murders he commits. 

The film's producer is Dominican Julio Caro, known from collaborations with Jennifer Lopez (El Cantante, The Cell). The release of «Duress» (the shooting of which have been completed for quite some time) in dark rooms will start in May from Eastern Europe-around time and the competition of Eurovision, where Sakis represents our country and will continue in September 2009 with screenings in western countries (and Greece) but also across the Atlantic.
