The unwanted

The people of the city of Thessalonica consider Sakis Rouvas unwanted and especially the Greeks of the Black Sea refuse even to allow him to be "hosted" in any of the local clubs. They are threatening to protest formally and invite the people of the city to back them up, if he doesn't stop his appearances in a local night club. Their basic argument is that when Sakis gave a concert at the Green Line in Cyprus at 19/5/1997 he insulted not only the Cypriots but the Greeks of the Black Sea and Greeks everywhere, because that day is dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Greek genocide by the Turks at the Black Sea.

The young artist who is very popular among the youths but not so famous among the older generations is not giving a concert. He is working and paid well at a private night club and announcements like that only manage to increase his importance and advertise him (for free).
