The case of Duress and the killer Sakis

The premiere of the film Duress (a police thriller starring Sakis Rouvas) is on September thought the film is going to be screened in Polland and Russia from May.

We' ll remind you that Sakis' first contact with cinema was in 1996 when he gave his voice to Quasimodo in "Notre Dam" by Disney, while a decade later, did the same for the beloved children's character in "Cars" giving voice to the terrible Lightning McQueen.

In 2007 he made his debut with Alter Ego, the most expensive Greek production ever (cost 2,000,000 euros) and now he returns as Abner Solvie ... a charismatic killer.

Sakis is co-starring with Martin Donovan and Billy Wirth, directed by Jordan Barker.

The story

Richard is mourning the recent suicide of his wife while trying to re-establish his relationship with his daughter. But he becomes a witness to an inhuman murder commited by Abner Solvie (aka Sakis) and is left at the mercy of the killer ... He becomes his protege in order to remain alive and to protect those he loves, and is forced to complete the murders initiated by Solvie.

His concience weights heavy on him due to his involvement in the murders of the local community and while he is trying to decide whether he is willing to continue the murders to save his daughter's life he slowly realises that Abner is not the only threat he has to face.
