On Wednesday 31st of January the filming of the “explosive” Greek movie, Alter Ego, were finally completed. This movie is the third that Village Roadshow Productions have produced after the blockbusters “To klama vgike ap’ ton paradeiso” (= Crying came from Heaven) and “Politiki Kouzina” (= A touch of spice). It is worth mentioning that this is one of the most expensive productions (for Greek standards) and it cost 2.000.000 euros

The director of the movie is Nikos Dimitropoulos who is also the screen writer along with Vana Dimitriou. The upcoming Nikos Dimitropoulos has made a head start in commercials and TV abroad. He has practical and theoretical knowledge when it comes to movie making. In 2002 he directed the movie “Small fish” and in 2004 the movie “Cool living”. He has worked abroad as a director and producer of many mini films and documentaries (Imagining Ithaca, Amazing Adventures of a Nobody, Silent Houses), and in music videos (Come My Angel, Famous, Lullaby), he has also created many commercial spots and company films (Nescafe, Shell, Microsoft ). He has also worked as a professional movie editor and has been awarded at New York Film Festival for the movie “Do you speak Chinese?”

A few words about the film: The plot is about the lives of five young people who are members of a famous rock band and are confronted with their fears, desires and their real self.

The actors participating are: Sakis Rouvas, Danai Skiadi, Alexandros Logothetidis and many more.
